A Little About Us
Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. Insurance is a family owned and operated business servicing all personal and commercial insurance needs. The Agency was founded by J. Daniel Snyder and William X. Moore, Sr. in 1964 and was located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. Over the next 12 years, the customer base of Snyder Moore Agencies grew rapidly which necessitated a move to Newtown Square, Pennsylvania in 1976 to accommodate a larger staff to provide quality customer service.
J. Daniel Snyder sold his part of Snyder Moore Agencies to David A. Black. In 1986, Gamp Pellegrini, Ed Brzezowski and Bill Lennox obtained Mr. Black’s part of the Agency. The remainder of the Agency was acquired when Mr. Moore retired in 1992.
Under this new ownership, 1992 was a particularly successful year for Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. with Gamp Pellegrini as the President, Ed Brzezowski as the Vice-President, and Bill Lennox as the Controller. Snyder Moore Agencies was continuing to thrive and expand its customer base and once again outgrew their office space. In March of 1995, Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. moved to its current location in Exton, Pennsylvania.
Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. prides itself on being a family owned and operated business for the past 46 years. In addition, Snyder Moore Agencies provides their valued customers with a knowledgeable, licensed staff and extraordinary customer service. Gamp, Ed, and Bill have 106 combined years of expertise in the insurance industry. Several of the owners sit on advisory boards of national and local insurance companies. Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. requires that all customer service representatives attend continuing education classes to stay on the forefront of the ever-changing industry. The owners pride themselves on their possession of an extensive amount of knowledge of the immediate and surrounding areas. Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. is licensed and proud to provide insurance services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Florida and California.
Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. represents 13 personal lines insurance companies and 15 commercial lines insurance companies. This enables us to constantly provide our valued customers with the most competitive rates. We have been a Harleysville Mutual Preferred Agency for 4 years and a CNA Gold Agency since 1998. In addition, Snyder Moore has earned the most distinguished honor of being named an Elite Agency by Travelers since 2005. This distinction was given on our “outstanding performance, sound business principals and superior potential.” Less than six percent of the 48,000 agencies that represent the Travelers are given this honor.
